Acute Inflammation of Tonsils and Throat Infection Caused by Bacterial, Viral Infection. Group A Beta Haemolytic Streptococci is the Causation Organism in Bacterial Tonsillitis.
Sore Throat, Cough, Fever, Headache, Swallowing Difficulty, Snoring are the Presenting Signs and Symptoms
Complication, if Untreated will Result in Rheumatic Fever
Nephritis.
After Medical Treatment, if Tonsils are Hypertrophied, Surgery should be done for those Recurrent Respiratory Infections Sleep Apnea, Recurrent otitis, Adenoids with tonsillitis
Precautions for such children are avoiding ice cream, any cold juice or cold water also
